Protecting Your Rights

Hali Michelle Anderson

ARCH Legal Shareholder Hali Anderson is a veteran employment law litigator who handles both wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.

A well-rounded employee advocate with a passion for social justice, Hali uses her previous experience and insights gained from exclusively representing employers to predict and shut down employer delay and defense tactics against workers.

Hali practiced at ARCH Legal’s predecessor firm, GrahamHollis. Prior to that, she worked for law firms well-known for their employment law practices: Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP and Wilson Turner Kosmo, LLP.

While earning her law degree at the University of San Diego School of Law, Hali interned at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and externed for the Hon. John A. Houston of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Hali attended American University in Washington, D.C., where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in special education. Before law school, she worked to help recipients of federal assistance find employment in Philadelphia.

Hali served on the Board of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association for 5 years and is a San Diego LEAD IMPACT graduate, as well as a graduate of the Black Women’s Institute of Leadership Development. She is also a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity fellow (Class of 2014).

In her spare time, Hali enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and the family dog. She enjoys all things Peloton, music, dancing, karaoke, and, above all, the Philadelphia Eagles.
