Ana Guzman

Ana is an Intake Specialist and a proud graduate of San Diego State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Born in San Diego and raised in Mexico, she later spent several formative years in Chicago before returning to her hometown. These experiences shaped her perspective and deepened her commitment to serving vulnerable communities, particularly after witnessing the social and systemic barriers that many minority groups continue to face. Ana also had the opportunity to intern with the Federal Defenders Office, where she worked closely with immigration law attorneys and assisted individuals with pre-arraignment matters.

In her role, Ana strives to be a compassionate and reliable point of contact for individuals navigating difficult circumstances. She is passionate about using her voice to support those who often feel unheard and creating a safe, welcoming space for people seeking guidance.

Beyond her professional career, Ana enjoys spending time with her nephews and sisters, listening to music, and reading books. She enjoys staying politically engaged and continuing to expand her knowledge of current events, social issues, and policies that impact our communities.
